There are three main needs to consider when owning a plant.
Sunlight
This one seems the most obvious but isn't always what it seems. While some plants in fact do like full sun, all day long, basking in the vitamin D, other plants want the opposite. There is such a thing as too much or too little sun.
Water
Much like the sunlight section, all plants do need water, but how much is the ultimate question. It is true that some plants need almost daily watering, while others might only need a good watering once a month.
Room to Grow
Containers and pots are just some environments to grow your plants. Some prefer well drained soil, while others like to be tightly packed.

Water once a month, but if you forget, no worries, this plant is very forgiving and likes to be left alone. Feel free to move your ZZ around as it is not sensitive to location changes, but be mindful not to constantly be always changing. All plants grow best if left in one spot for a while.
