A common epiphyte in Central / South America, these ferns are known for their blue- green deep hues, and caterpillar like rhizomes. Under fertilize in the Spring or not at all since it is sensitive to fertilizers. Pet Safe!

Light - prefers indirect light/shade

Water - keep soil evenly moist, but be careful not to overwater 

Soil - use chunky well draining soil, with a peat moss base

Humidity - likes high humidity, would benefit from a humidifier in the winter
