A gorgeous plant for so many reasons. Not only do these ferns look great in planters, they are more often seen in hanging baskets for their globe like shape and drapery. They benefit from a light fertilization in the spring, and constant "hair cuts" to keep the old under growth from getting too mangled. They are also pet safe!

Light - reflective bright light is preferred, but loves more shaded light.

Water - soil likes to be constantly slightly moist. Cannot let soil completely dry out or you will get stunted growth and browning frons. 

Soil - needs decent drainage but would benefit from a peat moss mixture. 

Humidity - needs very high humidity, might want to mist in the winter, or use a humidifier.
