Known for being the "good luck plant", the Ti leaf plant can be an amazing addition to any hygge home to create a more tropical feel. Hawaiians plant the Ti leaf around their home for protection, luck, and prosperity. This variety comes in varigated white and green, but can also come in a deep maroon and pink variety as well. Even though these originate from Hawaii, the plant can also be found in Southeast Asia, and Pacific wetlands as well, so their growing environments should mimic those locations as best as possible.
Light - Prefers a filtered indirect bright light. Known for growing in more shaded areas, a few hours of direct sun won't harm it.
Water - Regular watering will be fine. Soil should be damp most of the time but let it dry out a little between waterings.
Pot - Can grow tight in a pot, but should repot when it becomes to top heavy.
Humidity - Loves extreme levels, minimum of 75% humidity. Feel free to mist the leaves, or run a humidifier in the winter months to help the plant feel more at home, and prevent browning of the leaves.
