Sometimes known as the 'Wax Plant', the Krimson Queen hoya is a showstopper. With it's beautiful varigated white and green leaves, and a lightly scented pale pink flower, this plant can often get confused with it's sibling 'Krimson Princess'. The name comes from it's new foliage growth emerging as a crimson color, that slowly changes to the green and white multi-colored leaf we all know and love. 
 
Light - Bright indirect sun, but can tolerate direct morning or afternoon light
Water - only when completely dry, and make sure to see some water slowly dripping out of the bottom drainage holes. Water less in winter months. 
Potting - Needs well draining soil to prevent root rot, but can handle houseplant soil if watering is kept in check.
