Also known as "Polynesian Ivy", "Pellionia Pulchra Watermelon", or "Watermelon Vine", it get's it's many names from the attractive varigation in green color resembling a watermelon!
Native to Southeast Asia, specifically Burma, Malaysia, and Vietnam, this plant actually get's it's genus Pellionia from a French naval officer, A.M.J Alphonse Pellio.
These guys are creeping low growers, perfect for hanging baskets, or table top planters.
Light - Love as much light in the winter, but in the summer thrive in more shaded areas.
Water - Prefers to be on the more moist side, so don't let the soil dry out too much in detween waterings.
Pot - Prefers african violet soil mixture of equal parts sand, peat moss, and leaf mold.
Humidity - Love warm humid air, but will grow anywhere african violets grow well.
