An easy to care for tropical addition to any home! Native to South Africa, these big rubbery leaves make any home feel like a tropical oasis. These guys get BIG so make sure to put in a spot where it can grow tall, and keep it away from small children or pets as it is known to be toxic. However, due to it's height over time animals tend to leave it alone.

Light - Loves bright direct, or indirect light. If the leaves are turning brown, it is getting too much direct light.

Water - These are drought tolerant, so going a few weeks without water in the winter is great, needs every week, or whenever dry in the warmer months.

Pot - No need to rush repotting these guys, they get huge even in the smallest of pots. Repot when the size of the pot cannot hold the weight of the plant. Normal but well-draining soil is best.

Humidity - Loves high levels between 50-60%, but will adapt to the drier months in winter. Leaves will dry up and turn brown if the air is too dry.
